Two ancient relics in the form of pieces of Kala's head were found in the
courtyard of Krajan Hamlet, Sidorejo Village, Kauman District, Tulungagung Regency. The two objects were found in different locations.
The first location is in Sunarmi's house. Meanwhile, the second location is in Suprapdi's yard. According to Sunarmi's confession, in the vicinity of the location, several objects that were thought to be ancient had been found since he was a child.
"In my opinion, this is butho. Kala. Javanese people call it butho. Yes, the chunks are just chunks first. There are lots of them here too. The conditions are a bit cut like this. At this point it comes out a bit. If it used to appear and stay like this," said Sunarmi, Friday (19/6/2020).
“What is often found are stones, finally yesterday which party asked me to go there. In the ends, the head is also dug out. Found another one. This size is next to it. Yesterday it was dug (dug up) and the gold has no mouth. But said brother. I used to have three here, this is the biggest. In the past, when I was little, three of them played a lot. I don't, 'I don't know, now there are only two left,' he continued.
Sunarmi said that the location where Kala's head was found was a clump of thorny bamboo. From the measurement results of the Culture and Tourism Office of Tulungagung Regency, the shards of kala found in this location are 110 centimeters high, 134 centimeters wide, and 30 centimeters thick.
At the Suprapdi location, the Kala shard was found to be smaller. The dimensions are 85 centimeters high, 110 centimeters wide, and 26 centimeters thick. At that location there are also three colored flowers.
Sunarmi did not remember exactly what year he and his sister found the broken head of Kala. However, since it was found, the object that was suspected to be an ancient relic has been abandoned.
